Croatian rally champion Juraj Šebalj says he doesn’t feel any pressure at Rally Show Santa Domenica, but he would still like to win the Group N and have as much fun as he can. Gravel roads are the best opportunity for that, he claims.
Juraj Šebalj was this year once again the most successful Croatian rally driver. After winning his national title, he is now determined to make a good show also at Rally Show Santa Domenica. Last year, he lost the victory in Group N only for 1.5 seconds and even though rally is just a show and is not valid for any championship, he will be once again the favourite in his class.
“This is a rally show and I just want to enjoy it as much as I can. I don’t feel any pressure because we won’t drive for the points, but just for the pure pleasure. It is a fantastic event to end the season with, and yes, I would really like to win the Group N this time,” Šebalj said prior the rally.
This time his co-driver will be Miroslav Zrnčević. He is well known as a test driver for Rimac Automobili from Sveta Nedelja. He was driving the electric prototype from famous Pike’s Peak Race, owned by Japanese legend Nobuhiro Tajima, at European Championship hill climb race in Buzet.
