We are so pleased with the entry of Asja Zupanc and her co-driver Blanka Kacin, who decided to perform together again at the rally.
Asja Zupanc is a Slovenian driver who blazed and burned in rallies across Europe from 2003 to 2014. Her rally story began as a passenger in 2002, but she soon decided to take the wheel into her own hands. In 2009, driving a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX in European competitions, she entered the top twenty. A year later, driving the same car, she placed among the top ten in Germany, Austria and Slovenia with brilliant drives and finished second place in the Mitropa Rally Cup. In 2011, she won the Mitropa Rally Cup with her co-driver Blanka Kacin. For the next three years, he successfully participated in many rallies, attracting attention with his attractive drive. Most of them resulted in the top fifteen of the overall standings.
Particularly interesting and, we believe, exciting is her interest outside of rallying. Since 2007, Asja has been working as a film TV precision driver.
Blanka Kacin is one of the most famous female passengers from this area. Her passenger career, which began in 2008, continues to this day. Since 2014, he has been performing with Rok Turk, the multiple champions of Slovenia, and together, they won the Central Rally Trophy.
The Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX will complete the “remake” of this successful female crew at RSSD.
