One of the most promising Slovenian rally drivers says he can’t wait to get back to the gravel roads and experience some proper sideways driving.
Tim Novak is one of the youngest and most perspective rally drivers from Slovenia. At his age of 22, he had already gained many international experiences. Last year, he made his debut on World Rally Championship in Germany. This year he had further developed his career in a very competitive Opel Adam Cup in Germany. There he finished as sixth in overall classification. As finalist of 2015 FIA Academy for young drivers, Novak now wants to further improve his skills and rallying experience.
At Rally Santa Domenica, Novak will for the first time drive a 4WD rally car. Even though he already has may experience with this type of cars with driving a mitsubishi as »zero« car on different rallies and rally school in Finland, this will be a next important step for him. Novak will drive a well know mitsubishi lancer EVO X from team of Darko Peljhan, sixth time Slovenian rally champion. It is the same car that also Peljhan and Tim’s older brother Aljoša have used during this season.

Tim Novak: “After a successful season in Germany I want to have some fun. This is why I choose a 4WD rally car. It’s been a while since I last drive on gravel and it will be nice to show some proper sideways action.”
