RSSD among Europe’s rally elite at the 82nd Rally Poland

From the reigning European champion and a three-time European champion to the winner of Rally Poland, RSSD was presented to some of the leading figures on the European rally scene.
Rally Show Santa Domenica continued its international promotion at another major European rally event. Following a successful presentation at Rally Weiz, promotional materials for the 16th RSSD also reached the 82nd Rally Poland, the fourth round of this year’s FIA European Rally Championship. One of the oldest and best-known rallies in the world took place from 24 to 26 July in a completely new format. After two decades on the fast gravel roads of the Masurian Lake District, Rally Poland moved to Katowice and Silesia and was held entirely on asphalt for the first time since 2004. The programme featured 15 special stages covering a total competitive distance of 187.60 kilometres.

During the rally weekend, RSSD was presented to leading drivers, co-drivers and representatives of the European rally scene.
Among them were rally winner and ERC championship leader Teemu Suninen, home favourite and runner-up Jakub Matulka, reigning European champion Miko Marczyk, three-time European champion Kajetan Kajetanowicz and Lancia factory driver Andrea Mabellini. Suninen claimed his first FIA European Rally Championship victory in Poland. After an exceptionally close battle, he won by 9.7 seconds ahead of Matulka, while Marczyk secured third place. Mabellini finished fourth, just 2.6 seconds away from the podium, after setting the fastest time on the final Power Stage. It was especially encouraging to see the interest shown by drivers, teams, media representatives and fans in Rally Show Santa Domenica, an event that has grown over the years into one of the most recognisable rally spectacles in this part of Europe.

RSSD also featured in the live television broadcast.
RSSD’s promotion was not limited to the stages. Daniel Vojvodić, President of the RSSD Organising Committee and an active rally driver, joined the Sport Klub studio as co-commentator for the final Power Stage. During the live broadcast on Sport Klub 3, together with Siniša Crnojević, he guided viewers through the action on the final special stage, the battle for victory, the different approaches of the leading crews and the particular challenges of the new asphalt edition of Rally Poland. While his co-driver Filip Puzić followed the rally live in Poland and promoted RSSD among the competitors and spectators, Daniel followed and commentated on the action from the television studio.

International promotion continues.
The presentation at Rally Poland marks another important step in the international promotion of the 16th Rally Show Santa Domenica, following RSSD’s earlier presentation to numerous rally legends, drivers and media representatives at Rally Weiz. The aim of these activities is to strengthen connections with the European rally community, attract high-quality international crews and promote Sveta Nedelja, Savršćak-Samobor and Croatia as the home of one of the most attractive gravel rally events in the region.
