Clerk of the course announcement!
Dear and appreciated rally fans,
The rally is definitely the queen of autosport, and certainly the toughest, most demanding, complex and most dangerous autosport discipline.
Rally is a great sport, but it can easily become dangerous because accidents are unpredictable. With all its attractiveness and beauty, it can easily endanger anyone who does not adhere to the safety warnings, or simply does not take enough care of their own safety. So be careful and always expect unexpected.
For us, who are participating in the organization of this great project, the security of all participants – contestants and their teams, viewers, photo and video representatives is a top priority. Only a safe rally is a good rally and for this reason, we have set the highest safety standards in the preparation of the special stages. The changes we introduced this year into the concept of competition are the result of the desire for even greater certainty.
Always stay inside the marked and secure zones, which are different for spectators and media representatives, and follow the instructions of marshals, and other officials on the special stage.
Unfortunately, accidents involving spectators, photographers and video representatives are bitter realities and a great threat to the rally’s reputation as well as to the worldwide autosport. For this reason, I specifically emphasize the message of the FIA organization:
“You need us to promote our sport, but not at any costs, no record is worth risking your life”
Aware of the need to provide great photo and video materials, this year you will be able to work from a special media zones reserved only for media.
I think the Rally Show Santa Domenica is today one of the brightest jewels of the Croatian autosport, which is the last race in the calendar of the season 2018.
Help us so RSSD remains the best rally show in Central Europe, and that cooperative behavior positively affects the reputation of rally sport worldwide.
