Hungarian rally driver Peter Ranga with Škoda Fabia R5 will be one of the highlights of 2016 edition of Rally Show Santa Domenica in Croatia.
Entry list for Rally Show Santa Domenica is each day getting more interesting and competitive. One of the last new drivers on preliminary entry list is Peter Ranga from Hungary. He will drive a top prepared Topp Cars team Škoda Fabia R5 , one of the most competitive R5 cars in international rallying. This will be a debut for Ranga and also Czech rally car from Mlada Boleslav at gravel rally event in Sveta Nedelja and Savršćak in Croatia.
In last seasons, Ranga was driving a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO9 in Group N, but this year he got a car for the top league of international rallying. With Škoda Fabia R5 Ranga won Rally M6 LOG Baranya Kupa in Hungary and later he also finished second fastest on 50. Mecsek Rallye for Hungarian Rally Championship. On gravel, 23. Veszprém Rallye he had to retire due to technical reasons and therefore he is seeking for further experience and testing with his new rally car.
His Škoda Fabia R5 is nearly-new one and comes to Croatia in factory green and white colour outfit. Skoda Motorsport made an excellent customer car that became one of the most popular in R5 category. Fabia R5 is winning in many different countries and is presented by factory team also in World Rally Championship class WRC 2.
Ranga and his co-driver Tamás Szőke could definitely be one of the frontrunners at Rally Show Santa Domenica. Rally Show Santa Domenica is very popular in Hungary and also this year we will get many teams from our neighbour country. Can Hungarians also win here for the first time?
