Gravel rally show also with a Ford Fiesta RS WRC!

We can confirm that the most competitive car at Rally Show Santa Domenica will be a Ford Fiesta RS WRC. Winning car of 2016 Austrian Rally Championship will be driven by Gerald Rigler. After winning the Herbst Rallye in Austria, this will be his second outing with this great piece of rally machinery from M-Sport.

Ford Fiesta RS WRC is one of the most successful WRC cars of last generation. M-Sport developed the car for the Ford factory team already for the year 2011. In last seasons, Fiesta WRC got also in the hands of private drivers in different national championship. One of them is owned also by Zellhofer Motorsport in Austria. In this year they have rented the car to Hermann Neubauer and up till now he had won already six different rallies in Austria. Five of them were valid for overall Austrian Rally Championship and Neubauer also clinched his first national title.

Already at Herbst Rallye, an event valid for Austrian Rally Challenge (ARC), car went also in the hands of Gerald Rigler. He is a regular driver in ARC. After his many successes with older generations of Mitsubishi Lancers, he started driving last year a Peugeot 207 S2000. Now he got also the chance to drive one of the best rally cars in the world. At Herbst Rally he won seven out of nine special stages and led from start to finish.
