Big return: Can Péter Ranga win this year?

There was big drama last year on the last special stage of Santa Domenica Rally. Talented Hungarian driver Péter Ranga lost his victory for only 0,9 of a second. This year, he will return to Croatia for that missed victory.

RSSD entry list is each day getting more interesting and competitive. Newest drivers on the preliminary entry list are Ranga brothers from Hungary, Péter and László jun. They will be Co-driven by Tamás Szöke and Imre Tóth in a two top prepared Topp Cars team Škoda Fabia R5, one of the most competitive R5 cars in international rallying.

Last year edition of Rally Santa Domenica showed a great fight between winner Beppo Harrach (Ford Fiesta R5) and Péter Ranga (Škoda Fabia R5). 32 years old driver from Hungary lost his victory on the last special stage. Ranga is now one year more experienced and is well prepared.

He won this year two rally events in Hungary and was one of the fastest drivers in the national rally championship. His greatest result was the overall victory at Vezsprem Rally that was run completely on gravel roads. This shows just how good Ranga can be on gravel and that is why he will be one of the main favorites to win Rally Santa Domenica in the year 2017.
