Maximilian Koch (Speedlife-Motorsport mainly performs in Germany and Austria with occasional trips to Hungary, Sweden and Italy, and now he is coming to Croatia. Will perform in Škoda Fabia Rally2. Since 2014, he has been guided by the safe hand of co-driver Lisa Brunthaler. He also performed at the WRC five times.
From a young age, he has been involved in cars and motorsport, as well as the whole family. The family story begins with his grandfather Richard Koch, who started and built a family business and tried his hand as a rally driver. In 1968, Richard Koch prepared the Fiat 850 engine with which Walter Röhrl drove his first rally together with Herbert Marecek. Maximilian’s father continued the tradition and worked for famous teams such as Audi Sport and Toyota Team Europe for the then stars (Walter Röhrl, Carlos Sainz, Stig Blomqvist). He also drove rallies with the Mitsubishi Starion, Lancer Turbo, Audi 200 and S2.
Maximilian has always been interested in the technical aspect. It has always been his dream to prepare a vehicle for customers and compete with them, celebrate successes and of course, deal with failures. We wish him the realization of that dream.
