Are you ready for upcoming RSSD? Almost 100 crews are already on the preliminary entry list for this years edition. A new name on the list is also Mitropa Cup winner and newly-crowned Croatian champion Krisztián Hideg.
Hungarian driver and his CO-driver István Kerék (both Croatian licence holders-AC Delta Sport) are well known to rally fans in Croatia and its wider region with Slovenia and Austria. This year, Hideg was very successful in international Mitropa Rally Cup. He finished the season as the overall winner with a great margin in terms of points from all events and also newly-crowned Croatian champion. Hideg started the season with his trustful Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX but later switched to much more powerful and competitive Ford Fiesta and Škoda Fabia R5.
Škoda Fabia R5 will be also his choice for the upcoming RSSD. Fans will definitely appreciate his decision. Hideg is an attractive driver and an R5 car will be a good supplement to his driving style on flowing gravel stages in Savršćak and Sveta Nedelja in Croatia.
There are already six R5 cars on the preliminary entry list. Among them also 11-time Croatian champion Juraj Šebalj (Hyundai i20 R5), fast Hungarians Antal Kovacs-Gergő Istovics (Ford Fiesta R5), Italian Marco Carrara (Ford Fiesta R5) and another successful Mitropa Cup driver Szabolcs Várkonyi with remarkable WRC photographer – Gergely Makai (Hyundai i20 R5).
