After he experienced the charm of the Rally Show Santa Domenica gravel for the first time last year, Gerald Rigler is coming back at the 8th edition! In exceptionally Ford Fiesta RS WRC, which we’ve met last year, in five days co-driver will be again Martin Roßgatterer.
Ford Fiesta RS WRC is one of the most successful WRC cars of the last generation. M-Sport developed the car for the Ford factory team already for the year 2011. In last seasons, Fiesta WRC got also in the hands of private drivers in the different national championship. One of them is owned also by Zellhofer Motorsport in Austria.
After numerous successes with older generations of Mitsubishi Lancer and Peugeot 207 S2000, two years ago he got a chance to compete with one of the greatest rally cars. At Austrian Rallye Trophy 2017, he won by 5 wins of 7 competitions, what promises competitiveness at RSSD.
